Where is the ground?: Wood Park, Alsager
Directions?: Head out of Sheffield on Eccleshall Road (A625), going past the Dore Moor and take a left signposted Froggatt and Chapel en le Frith. Continue on the A625 to the Calver Crossroads before going right onto the A623, follow this for 11 miles and at the roundabout, take a left signposted Buxton onto the A6. Once in Buxton go right onto the A53 and follow for 2 miles. Take a right onto the A54, Congleton and continue forward on A537. At the traffic signals turn left onto the A523 (signposted Leek, Birmingham) then at the traffic signals turn right onto the A536 (signposted Congleton, Birmingham), follow the A536 for 7 miles. Follow the A34 and for the three roundabouts head towards Newcastle, continue for 5.5 miles then at the traffic signals turn right onto the A50. At traffic signals continue forward onto Crewe Road - B5077 (signposted Alsager). Turn right onto Moorhouse Avenue, the ground is 1/4 of a mile on the right

What is there to see inside?: A small seated stand with 100 seats on the near banked side, a covered terrace adjacent (something I'll occupy should the weather be bad). The far side was/is home to the Farside Ultras a small terrace similar to Salford City's but a bit different. The refreshments are all on one side, the near side. Both goals are open

Directions?: Join the M1 at Junction 33, leave it at Junction 32 and proceed north on the M18. At Junction 4 turn off and go left on the A630 towards Doncaster, follow it to the 3rd roundabout where you turn left in towards Armthorpe. At the roundabout go right and the ground is on the left behind Netto

What is there to see inside?: Refreshments are served in portacabins to the right. There is a small looking main stand to the right infront of the portacabins with a capacity of 250. You follow the path round and you arrive at the top end where there is a terrace that is partly covered to the rear. The rest of the ground is open and hard standing

Name: Queensgate
Where is the ground?: Queensgate, Bridlington
Directions?: Join the M1 at Junction 33, leave it at Junction 32 and proceed north on the M18. At Junction 7 continue forward onto the M62 (signposted Hull), leave the M62 at Junction 37 and then merge onto the A63 (signposted Howden, A614, Selby, A63). At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A614 (signposted Bridlington, follow the A614 for 39 miles. Continue forward onto the A165, at roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A1038, at roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A1038 (signposted Bridlington Town Centre) and turn left onto Queensgate after 1/2 a mile
Distance?: 86 miles, its an apparent 2 hour journey, allow 3 hours if this is in the school holidays.
What is there to see inside?: The largest stand in the league! A 750 seater stand extending from penalty spot to penalty spot. To the left goal looking out the main stand is a small covered terrace. The rest of the ground is open

Where is the ground?: Welfare Road, Woodlands
Directions?: M18 to Junction 2, join the A1(M) North. Leave the A1(M) at Junction 38 and take A638 to Doncaster, take left after Woodlands Pub into Welfare Road, ground 50 yards on left.

What is there to see inside?: Refreshments served inside the portacabins. As you enter down the path you can see the main stand on the left holding around 230 people. At the far end is an impressive terrace. The rest of the ground is open terracing

Name: Phoenix Park
Where is the ground?: Laughton Road, Dinnington
Directions?: Join the M1 at Junction 33, go Southbound to Junction 31. From there follow A57 Worksop Road East for 1 mile. At first traffic lights, turn left onto B6463 Todwick Road then Monks Bridge Road for 2 miles. At petrol station roundabout, take third exit signposted Dinnington and travel half-a-mile, then take first left at Morrell Tyres. Cross mini-roundabout at The Squirrel pub and travel on Laughton Road for 300 yards. Ground is on the left.

What is there to see inside?: Its a relatively new venue, there are several bus stop style shelters. There is one seated stand holding 80

Name: Plumpton Park
Where is the ground?: Kingsway, Wrose.
Directions?: M1 to Junction 42, go westbound on the M62 to Junction 26. M606, right onto Bradford Ring Road A6177, left on to A650 for Bradford at 2nd roundabout. A650 Bradford Inner Ring Road onto Canal Rd, branch right at Staples (Dixons Car showrooms on right), fork left after 30mph sign to junction with Wrose Road, across junction - continuation of Kings Rd, first left onto Kingsway.

What is there to see inside?: As you enter you are in covered terrace. This terrace is quite small and the view is ok. Turning left you see the clubhouse and open terracing down the left side of the pitch. The main stand is on the right side of the pitch with 225 seats, this gives a good view of the action. At the other end is just hard standing.

Name: Dene Park
Where is the ground?: Dene Close, Beverley Road, Dunswell, Hull
Directions?: Junction 33 of the M1 to Junction 32 and go northbound up the M18. From here follow the M62 eastbound until it becomes the A63 turn left before Humber Bridge onto A164 to Beverley, after approx. 5 miles turn right onto A1079. In 2 miles, turn left at large roundabout to ground 20 yards on right

What is there to see inside?: A small stand behind the goal at which you enter, this is called the Ted Richardson Stand. The clubhouse is at this end as well, the rest of the ground is hard standing

Name: Moorland Sports Ground
Where is the ground?: Newark Road, Lincoln
Directions?: Join the M1, exit at Junction 31 and take A57 until Lincoln by-pass and then turn right onto A46. At third roundabout, turn left onto Doddington Road. Continue until Newark Road - ground on the left after 800 yards; From Newark: Enter Lincoln on A1434. Go past Forum Shopping Centre for approx ¾mile. Ground on left signposted

Name: Clayborn Ground
Where is the ground?: Quaker Lane, Cleckheaton
Directions?: M1 to Junction 42, westbound on M62 to Junction 26, A638 into Cleckheaton, right at lights on corner of Memorial Park, through next lights and under railway bridge, first left (Hightown Rd) and Quaker Lane is approx ¼mile on left and leads to ground.

What is there to see inside?: Enter through the turnstile, to the left to steps down to pitch for the players and to the right is a small terrace with large pillars obstructing some view. Walking along the left side of the pitch you find the small 3 row high main stand, this stand is built on top of the bank and gives an elevated view of the action. The far end and right side of the pitch (looking from the turnstiles) is open hard standing

Name: Grange Park
Where is the ground?: Station Road, Long Eaton
Directions?: Find your easier route to the M1 then go southbound to Junction 25. A52 towards Nottingham, to island by Bardills Garden Centre, right onto B6003. Approx 2 miles to end of road to T-junction. At traffic lights, turn right A453 and take 2nd left into Station Road. Entrance on left down un-named road opposite disused car park next to Grange School.

What is there to see inside?: As you enter you see the changing rooms and clubhouse which are modern. As you pass through the turnstiles you see the main stand to the right, The Big Jim Stand, a large seated stand with the tunnel leading from the changing rooms in the middle. Opposite is a smaller seated stand, the view isn't quite as good from here. The two ends are open with a bus stop style shelter to the side of the Big Jim Stand

Name: Muglet Lane
Where is the ground?: Muglet Lane, Maltby
Directions?: Find the easier route to M1 before exiting at Junction 32 and joining the M18 North. Exit M18 at Junc 1 with A631. Two miles into Maltby, right at traffic lights at Queens Hotel corner on to B6427 Muglet Lane. Ground ¾mile on left. Bus 101 from Rotherham stops at ground. Bus 287 from Sheffield to Queens Hotel, then follow as above.

What is there to see inside?: A somewhat interesting affair. Entry is through the turnstiles at bottom end and you are greeted by the impressive changing facilties in the building infront of you. To the right is the cricket pitch and hard standing to the ?halfway? lane. Up the left hand side is a small terrace and further up a small main stand with approximately 150 seats. At the top end its no entry and no hard standing but more of 'grass standing'

Name: Mickleover Sports Ground
Where is the ground?: Station Road, Mickleover
Directions?: A61 through Chesterfield and onto Alfreton, follow the A38 south and follow for 14 miles. At roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A5111 (signposted Ring road, Mickleover) follow for 1/2 a mile and at traffic signals turn right onto the A516 (signposted Uttoxeter, Stoke) At roundabout take the 1st exit onto Uttoxeter Road - B5020 (signposted Mickelover) At roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Station Road - B5020 (signposted Kirk Langley) follow to the top and the ground is on the left

Name: The Welfare Ground
Where is the ground?: Crofton Community Centre, New Crofton
Directions?: Join the M1 and leave at Junction 39. From there head towards Wakefield (A638), the Denby Dale road. Leave Wakefield on the A638 (Doncaster Rd), towards Wakefield Trinity Ground. Continue on this road for another 2 miles, you will pass the Red Beck Motel on your right. Go under the bridge and turn right opposite the Public house 'Crofton Arms'. Follow road through Crofton village (1 1/4 miles). Turn left at 'Slipper' public house, then right onto Middle Lane, follow road round to reach Crofton Community Centre.

What is there to see inside?: On entrance you see three open sides from the top of the bank. On the near side is the main stand and clubhouse. Views from the near side are very good and give an elevated view of action, at ground level you have hard standing on all 4 sides.

Name: Roundwood Sports Complex
Where is the ground?: Green Lane, Rotherham
Directions?: Follow the A6178 through Sheffield, past Meadowhall and onto Rotherham past Magna Science Centre. Follow the A630 for a mile then follow the A633 for another mile. Turn right off High Street onto Bellows Road and immediately right into Green Lane, ground 800 yards on the right
Distance?: 12.7 miles
What is there to see inside?: Seating at one end, one side is just conifers and the other two sides are just hard standing. Refreshments at the 'stand' end

Name: Recreation Club
Where is the ground?: Mill Lane, Pickering
Directions?: M1 to where it becomes the A1(M) and exit at Junction 45 and head eastbound on the A64 for 25 miles. Turn left onto the A169 and on entering Pickering, take 1st left past Police Station and BP garage into Mill Lane, ground 200 yds on right.
Distance?: 84.5 miles
What is there to see inside?: On entry down on the far side turnstiles you have the main stand to your left with approximately 100 seats inside, the views from this stand can be obstructed by the large pillars. To the right is the fully covered terrace with clubhouse at the far end of it. Opposite is the cricket club and no entry to this side. Completing the picture is a small seated stand behind the far goal, despite being situated to the left of centre it holds 100 and gives good views.
As a note you can also enter the ground by going right past the cricket club (parking outside the turnstiles) as opposed to going left past the cricket club. Here you enter at the seated end

Name: Flaxley Road Ground
Where is the ground?: Richard Street, Scott Road, Selby
Directions?: Join the M1 (wherever is easiest) and head northbound to Junction 42. Go eastbound on the M62 to Junction 34 and take the A19 for 6 miles. Turn into Scott Road on the B1223 and turn into Richard Street, ground is at the bottom.
Distance?: 52.3 miles
What is there to see inside?: There are 2 open sides, the far side contains the changing rooms and the near side has the clubhouse and refreshments. To the left is a huge terrace, only stepped in the middle and covered partly to the rear. At the other end is a seated stand with benches extending from corner flag to corner flag.

Name: BRSA Sports Ground
Where is the ground?: Langwith Road, Shirebrook
Directions?: Depart M1 at Junction 29, at roundabout take A617 towards Mansfield (for 3.5 miles), at next roundabout take 2nd Exit B6407 Common Lane towards Shirebrook (or 1.8 miles), go straight on at next roundabout (for 300 yards), at staggered crossroads turn right onto Main Street (for 1.1 miles), at T Junction turn right (for 100 yards), take the first road on your left (Langwith Road). The ground is 400 yards on the right.

What is there to see inside?: Refreshments are served in the clubhouse to the right. To the left is the main terrace and hard standing. Both ends are hard standing, with the far end banked. The opposite side has 2 seated stands with 150 seats in each, both set back from the pitch

Where is the ground?: Ainsbury Avenue, Thackley
Directions?: M1 to Junction 42 then M62 Westbound to Junction 27. Then go A62, A650 and follow the A650 onto the A6177 for 4 miles. Get on the A658 for 2 miles then go left onto the A657 (Shipley) turn right onto Thackley Road then bear right onto Ainsbury Avenue

What is there to see inside?: On entrance you can see the 3 sides of open, hard standing but you can also see the clubhouse straight ahead and refreshments bar. Go through the shelter and you reach an impressive main stand. This provides cover for 600 with 300 seats and 300 standing places to the rear

Where is the ground?: West Street, Winterton
Directions?: Make your way to the M1 and exit at Junction 32 heading northbound on the M18. Leave the M18 at Junction 5, join the M180. Exit the M180 and go onto the M181, follow this onto the A1077 after 3 miles turn right onto Earlsgate Road, the B1430. Take a left onto Northlands Road then take an immediate right into West Street, the ground is on the left

What is there to see inside?: The clubhouse is situated behind the near goal which is hard standing but with room to build upon. The main stand is down on the left containing 200 seats, opposite is a small covered terrace. At the far end is hard standing again
