Website to close in May
This is expected but the www.hallamfc.co.uk website will cease to exist in May. The domain name is tied up in a long term deal at the moment.
After nearly 4 years running this website it has become the time to say goodbye to Hallam Football Club, since my move from Sheffield nearly 2 and 1/2 years ago things became increasingly difficult. After the 2006/2007 season I lost interest myself in running the website as it became tough to come an hour home from home games and 2 hours from away games. Since then I've tried for the good of the fans, players and officials to keep updating it as now my time is limited, this has failed this season.
I have a new venture and website up and running, www.highpeakgroundguide.webs.com - this project more relevent to my location and status at the moment.
I intend to visit Sandygate for a midweek match in my Easter two week holiday to thank members of the club who did help me when I ran this site in full and will pay my admission fee. Should the club reach any cup finals I will look to visit them as well.
I will always remember this club and every person from it and have the greatest respect for them. This website has done massive good for myself and I hope that the website has also done good for the people of Hallam F.C themselves.

Welcome to the website of the Second Oldest Football Club in the world!
We play at Sandygate, our home for now 148 years, I firmly believe the future for Hallam is bright, after an amazing 2007/2008 season.
After 07/08 Hallam are looking to build on 6th place. We had 2 very good cup runs in the Vase and League Cup. Both were incredibly cruel exits.
Hallam have secured the services of top scorer James Tevendale for another season....33 goals in all competitions last year
The club now has a reserve side, check out the reserves page for details. I will be reporting on some of their games this season.
