Situation with promotion

With regards to promotion to the Unibond League I have read Ground Grading Category D & E thoroughly and identified more than one thing hindering promotion. Many would say a fourth side at the ground stops promotion - it doesn't. If we ever played a football league side in the FA Cup then a temporary stand on the cricket pitch side could be built.

What we need for promotion

We all know Ground Grading was made for teams with money. That's why you can predict who will get promoted. We need money to sort out the slope then adjust/demolish any structure built for the slope. The stand, the clubhouse and the dug-outs fit into that category. So my point is proved. Ground Grading stipulates that if you ain't got money you ain't getting promoted.  Hallam also need an additional turnstile.

I have heard a story of Hathersage FC, who play in the Hope Valley League out in Derbyshire. Their pitch was really bad, the drainage was very poor. They could have had their whole pitch raised 0.5 metres for absolutely nothing. They rejected this offer by Blue Circle Cement Company who are now known as Lafarge. If Hallam were offered this then we'd have to take the chance.
