Finance has been made available through the Heritage Lottery Fund for a project to teach Sheffield school children about the "History of Football" which will one day be added to the school curriculum.
The "All our Stories" bid was submitted through All Saints School and an inaugural meeting was recently held at the Legends of the Lane and attended by both Educational and Sporting associations who will be working together to develop the content of the programme. Both Sheffield's professional clubs were represented at the meeting as were Sheffield FC and Hallam FC who both form an important part of the History of the game not only in the City but across the World.
Club Historian John Steele and Life Member Phil Farnsworth are actively participating in the project on behalf of the Countrymen.
