This was never going to be an easy challenge for Chris Sellar's Hallam however in a first half that was played partially in a hail storm the Countrymen put in a well disciplined performance and deserved to go in level at the break.

The opening 20 minutes of the second half took on a similar pattern and it was a real end to end affair. Then on 68 minutes the game changed with a determined surge down the right hand side and Danny Frost was on hand to give Shaw Lane the lead.Although still in the game you could see the confidence and belief drain from Hallam so it was no surprise when Aquaforce added futher goals from Luke Danville, Lee Swift and finally Ashly Flynn. Game over.

(Hallam would like to wish Aquaforces Mark Whitehouse a speedy return after a freek incident in which he sustained a nasty head injury when colliding with his own knee.We would also like to thank our on site medical staff for helping to deal with Mark before he went off to Hospital.)
