Ann wins Award

Posted 09th January 2014 - Posted in Club News Ann wins Award

It is the time of year when the Sheffield Telegraph's Brian Bradley lists his Non League Football Awards for 2013 made to players, managers, committee members, individuals and clubs alike in recognition of what they have achieved over the past 12 months.

The worthy winner of the "Outstanding Contribution to Non League Football" has been awarded , for the second time, to our very own Ann Holland. Brian quotes "Ann can always be found running her canteen at Sandygate when Hallam or any other team are there and in this season of hard times, she is a willing worker on their committee as well and has been for many years".

What Brian fails to mention are all the other roles Ann steps into at a moments notice when others cannot be there such as match day secretary or helping out behind the bar at functions or meeting and greeting overseas visitors who want to view the ground during the working week. Ann Holland is and always will be a shining beacon to everyone involved at Hallam Football Club and she thoroughly deserves this recognition.

Well Done Ann !
