Morris Dance leads to Nothing

Posted 04th March 2014 - Posted in Match Reports Morris Dance leads to Nothing

This defeat to bottom club Louth was overshadowed by the post match announcement that first team Manager Chris Sellars had been asked to step down.

Even though Hallam had enjoyed the lions share of possession in the first period they only had a Liam Morris cheeky back flick to show for it as they went in leading 1-0 at the break. Adam Askwith should have added a second in the opening minute of the second half but the chance went begging and Louth's spirits were lifted. The visitors need to be complimented on their effort and commitment and having equalised went on to take a 2-1 lead that they valiantly held onto until the final whistle.

Hallam will now travel to Hemsworth on Saturday under the temporary control of Assistant Manager Wayne Thompson.
