It took just 20 seconds for Hallam to find themselves behind in this game as a long clearance down field by Dinnington was headed past his own keeper by Dwayne Wiley. After 21 mintues the visitors went two up as Cartledge converted after a free kick from the right. Ben Cobley halved the arrears just two minutes later with a low drive from the edge of the box after some good work from Aaron Moxom. So 2-1 at the break and all to play for.The Countymen just could not find any rythem in the second half and Roper put the game beyond them when he met a cross in the box and shot into the roof of the Hallam net making the final score 3-1.
