Bradley Family Guests of Honour at Sandygate

Last Tuesday as we played our annual pre-season friendly against Sheffield FC we were honoured to have the family of Brian and Judith Bradley in attendance.

Brian and Judith were recently involved in a fatal accident and their daughters, Jill and Jane, as well as their partners Ian and John and grandson Matthew were our guests of honour at the derby match.

Both Jill and Jane led the teams out onto the pitch and at the families request a minutes applause was observed by both teams and the crowd at Sandygate.

Co-Chairman Steve Basford said "It was always a real pleasure to have Brian and Judith at Sandygate, so to have their family at the Sheffield game at such a difficult and sad time was a real honour and they are always welcome at Hallam."

Hallam manager Ryan Hindley said “The beginning of the game was extremely emotional, with Brian and Judy’s family in attendance.  I would like to dedicate the win to Brian and Judy."
