A young Wednesday team managed by Lee Bullen and with Giles Coke in central midfield were pegged back after just 15 minutes with a strike from in form Danny Wiltshire. Liam Morris made it 2-0 to Hallam after 32 minutes and the Countrymen were looking more than comfortable.Harry Grant hit the post with a long range effort as the Owls fought their way back into the game and two minutes later an impulsive challenge in the box from young defender Adgie gave Matthey Fletcher the chance to pull one back from the spot leaving the half time scoreline at 2-1.
Wednesday started the second half with more purpose and Lewis Naylor in the Hallam goal was called upon to make a string of important saves then in the 65th minute Mark Reynolds rose unmarked from a corner to head the Owls back level.
Both teams had further chances to win the game however it all finished square at the end of the 90 minutes.
