A first half to remember for Hallam left their visitors well and truly Wors-e for wear as Mitchell Dunn helped himself to an awesome foursome.

Ironically it was the visitors who started the brighter, pressing The Countrymen' back and making the early ground running thus forcing Hallam shotstopper' Dave Darwent to make a save with his legs.
However to the delight of the home crowd and The Ultras', it was Hallam struck first as Dunn got his head to a Alex Brown pin point cross to nod past the keeper' on nine minutes.

And again it was Dunn who stole in, eleven  minutes later to slot home to increase Hallam's advantage.
By now Hallam were climbing through the gears as their confidence rose.
And Dunn finished a well worked move to bag his treble on 22 minutes to complete a thirteen minute trio of goals.

The countrymen' continued to press for more as a intricate move from Dunn, Danny State and Mark West resulted in the latter's shot hitting the Worsborough upright.
And on 33 minutes the match was Hallam's as State raced through, rounded the keeper and kept his composure to confident tap in to make it four.

Hallam were not finished there either as the job was Dunn and dusted before the interval as the magnificent Mitchell broke clear of the Bridge's broken defence and hit a cool finish into the corner of the net.
And goal number six wasn't far off as Gareth Griffiths struck four minutes before the interval.

As the crowd wondered during half time just how many the home side would score, Worsborough were forced into a change. However Hallam stuck with the same eleven who took the Reds to pieces in the first 45 minutes.
The start of the second half calmed down to a degree though State had a great effort, which just went over early on.

Hallam brought on fresh legs in the shape of Matt Morton and Ryan lee for Four goal hero Dunn and State as The blue boys chased more goals.
And West obliged by sliding in with quarter of a hour to go, to make it seven and a great tonic for the Hallam goal average.
West was denied a brace as his header was cleared off the line by a Red defender as Andrew fox replaced Skipper James Reed late on.

Worsborough posed little threat in getting at least a consolation goal in a miserable night for the team from Barnsley.
The board was held up signalling two minutes of injury time but no furthur action of note to report.

So it remained at seven and as the official blew on a mesmerising night at Sandygate, we go again at home to Brigg Town on Saturday, KO 3pm.
To reiterate, this match is a "Non league day" fixture meaning anybody holding a 2017/18 season ticket for any club will gain admission free of charge.
