Hallam made it 12 goals in two games as they routed Brigg Town 5-1 in front of our best crowd of the season at Sandygate Road.
The Blue army, kicking downhill in the first half, started as they meant to go on and and never looked back as Mitchell Dunne sent a crisp drive past the Brigg Keeper' in the second minute.
Hallam continued to press against the division basement boys and looked assured in their possession and our constant wing threat unnerved The Zebras'.
And the Hosts deservedly got their second on 35 minutes as Thomas Roebuck met a pinpoint cross with a bullet header to increase our lead.
However it wasn't until shortly before Half Time that Hallam really went into overdrive. Them fans who left the action shortly before the break to retreat to the 1860 suite missed two quick strikes. First Alex Brown nonchalantly backheeled a ball across the box from three yards out into a near open goal and Dunne again broke clear of the Brigg defence to slot a composed finish in the corner for number four.
Brigg took the fight more to Hallam in the second phase as Andy Smeath somehow kept out a rare Brigg effort from close range.
He was however left helpless on 55 minutes as Chris Rodgers headed in to restore some pride to the scoreline for the Lincolnshire club.
Hallam continued to search for a fifth as West's teasing cross failed to meet a Hallam player. At this stage Hallam's benchwarmers were brought into the action as Glaves replaced Danny State and Chris Wood came on for Dunne, who'd now hit six goals in two games for the Countrymen.
The game turned scrappy in the final twenty minutes as Hallam seemed content with the four and Brigg pushed for a second but to no avail.
As the fourth official held up the board signalling six minutes of added time, Supersub Wood smashed in from close range to put the icing on the cake for Hallam.
So the majority of the 466 faithful ( The day's highest crowd in the NECL incidentally) went home very happy on "Non league day" and prepare for our next encounter at Grimsby Borough's Bradley Sports Centre on Wednesday Evening 7.45pm KO and see if we can avenge our defeat in the playoffs there in May.
