HALLAM LEFT IN WILDERNESS AGAIN
Countrymen leave Lincolnshire grim!

Grimsby Borough 4 Hallam FC 2
Hallam suffered a repeat dose of pain at 'The Bradley as their heroic comeback came to no avail.
On a windy night in East Lincolnshire, Hallam came into this match on the back of three straight wins and keen to settle a score with Borough' who beat The Countrymen' in last seasons play off semi finals.

And Grimsby were the quickest off the mark as Josh Venney scored for The wilderness boys' on three minutes.
And on 25 minutes Adam Drury doubled the hosts lead as Grimsby Borough looked to pile more misery on their visitors.
But Hallam received a lifeline just before half time as who else but Mitchell Dunne found the net for the third game running and bagged his seventh goal in as many games.

Both teams went hammer and tongs at it and incredibly Hallam were level on 73 minutes virtue of an own goal.
However we wern't celebrating for long as virtually straight from the restart Drury completed his brace and restored the home teams advantage.
And in a manic game Danny Trott sealed the win for Grimsby in the 84th minute.

So another night of misery in Grimsby however  no time for moping. It's time to focus on serving  revenge cold to our FA vase conquers Rossington Main on Saturday in South Doncaster, KO 3pm.
