Turning the Corner ?

Hallam travelled to high flying Louth and without a disallowed goal and the width of a post they might well have enjoyed an even better day out.
They still found themselves behind in this one to a Matt Kennedy goal after 12 minutes however they bounced back and Ben Cobley scored a much deserved equaliser on 34 minutes and the Countrymen finished the half on top.
Even the players admit that sometimes they are slow out of the blocks and this once again haunted them as they conceeded a second after just 15 seconds of the restart, another strke from Mark Kennedy. On this occassion though the team showed its growing character as they went straight down the other end and equalised through a Ben Cobley penalty and were unlucky not to take all three points back to Sheffield.
This may be the performance that Watts and Sellars were waiting for and one that suggests brighter skies are just around the corner.
Back at Sandygate Road the reserves continued with their fine run of form beating Bramley 3-0.
