Carter is Main Man

Everyone was aware how important the run of games were going to be this month especially at Sandygate and after the dissapointment of the postponement of Tuesday nights match due to fog the visit of Rossington Main was made all the more vital for the teams progress.

A stalemate in the first half with both teams not wanting to make any mistakes it was the visitors who took the lead on 63 minutes through a Adam Wisdom goal. The Countrymen's nerves could have got the better of them had captian Ben Kistell not found the equaliser three minutes later then to everyone's delight hard working midfielder Adam Carter struck the winner on 72 minutes to give Hallam another 3 points to add to their season's tally.

The future is starting to look a little brighter and Hallam have  a potential opportunity to move up the table on Tuesday night when they welcome Teversal to Sandygate.

The reserves were on the wrong end of a 4-3 scoreline at Wickersley their first defeat in the league since the opening day of the season.
