Hallam FC 2 - 1 Hemsworth Miners Welfare

Hemsworth Miners Welfare came to Sandygate sitting just 3 points behind Hallam FC.

Hallam were looking to make it 7 wins on the bounce and it all looked good to continue as Kieran Watson netted a goal in the 22nd minute to put Hallam 1 up. This was closely followed up with a Brandon Bradbury tap in for Hallam's 2nd following some great play down the right side.

Hemsworth's keeper was dismissed from the match following an incident where he was adjudged to have brought down Watson who was free on goal. The substitute keeper did a good job of keeping the score at 2-0 as we entered the break.

Hemsworth were not killed off and they got a goal back in the 75th minute through Reece Kral. Its was Hemsworth who were most likely to get the next goal as they fashioned some great opportunities with Hugo making some match winning saves. The game ended 2-1 much to the relief of the Countrymen.
