6th Win on the Bounce as Hallam FC Beat Bottesford

Hallam FC 2 - 0 Bottesford Town

Hallam FC were looking for their 7th win on the bounce and faced Bottesford Town who themselves, came to Sandygate following a 7-0 win over Yorkshire Amateur.

Hallam FC made the early running taking the lead after 20 minutes. Brandon Bradbury half volleyed the ball into the roof of the net picking up on a shot/pass from Brad Kerr. Bottesford did come into the game but were unable to find the final touches in the Hallam box against the resilient Hallam defence.

Into the second half and it was Hallam that looked the stronger side with some good spells of play down the left wing. A break in the 55th minute saw the ball lobbed over the Bottesford defence and on to Ollie Ferron who ran into the box and thundered the ball past the Bottesford keeper to double Hallam's lead.

Both sides threatened to score with good passages of play but the game ended with a further victory to Craig Denton's Hallam side.
